PikeRide is a perfect way to spend your day or reach your desired location in Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City.

PikeRide is the local nonprofit electric-assist bike share providing a leisurely ebiking experience for riders of all fitness levels to enjoy the unique freedom of exploring downtown on two wheels. Our ebikes make it easy to get up hills, bike longer distances and access top tourist destinations and local businesses without a rental car or paid parking.

Thinking of visiting Garden of the Gods? Hop on a PikeRide for a more intimate experience that allows riders the freedom to stop without having to find limited parking. PikeRide ebikes can be rented at hubs near the Manitou Springs entrance to the park, or you can rent your ebike at any other hub to enjoy the ride as much as the destination. Check out the Garden of the Gods ride and other curated routes around town. With hub locations near top attractions like the Manitou Springs Penny Arcade, The U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum, the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum and more - fun and sustainable transportation has never been so easy!

Get Started:

Download the PikeRide mobile app from the App Store or Google Play to set up your account. From there, you can access the PikeRide service area map which displays where ebikes can be rented and returned around town.

Pricing:

PikeRide offers flexible plans for visitors and locals alike, such as a Pay as You Go option, two 24-hour Day Pass options, and extended membership options for those exploring the city longer. Please visit the PikeRide website and scroll down on the home page or download the app for current pricing on a variety of plans.

PikeRide has partnered with Visit Colorado Springs to provide a discounted 30 for 30 Pass for $15. Take 50% off this 24-hour pass option, providing unlimited 30-minute trips within 24 hours after purchasing. All trips exceeding 30 minutes will be charged at the standard pay-as-you-go rate of 25 cents per minute.

Riders looking to take trips longer than 30 minutes may instead select the 4 Hour Adventure pass in the PikeRide app, providing 4 hours of ride time within 24 hours for $30.

Convenient ebike hubs throughout the city provide easy access to urban exploration.

How to ride:

  1. After setting up an account on the PikeRide app, locate one of over 80 hubs across downtown Colorado Springs, Old Colorado City, and Manitou Springs. The PikeRide app shows available ebikes with a purple balloon.
  2. Once you’ve reached your desired ebike, press the Scan button in the app to scan the QR code located on the handlebars to unlock your bike.
  3. Ride safely and follow all traffic laws - we recommend wearing a helmet.
  4. PikeRide ebikes must be parked within the service area outlined in the app’s map, and they do not need to be returned to the hub where they were originally rented from. You may park your ebike at any PikeRide hub for free, or at any public bike rack or post within the service area for $1. Make sure to lock the ebike to a secure location when it’s not in use and do not block vehicle or pedestrian traffic. Lastly, make sure the ebike is accessible to the public for others to use. Fees will be incurred if the ebike is not parked securely or is parked outside of the designated area. For more parking and riding information, see the PikeRide Visitors Page.
  5. To end your trip, use the cable below the seat to secure the ebike to a rack, post, or another stationary object. Push the lever down to lock and submit a photo via the app of the secured cable to end your trip. Your app will inform you once your trip has ended and you will also receive a confirmation email. Please stay with your ebike until you receive confirmation that it has been properly locked as this helps prevent theft.
